The total cost of ACI filing consists of two parts - the ACI filing processing fee and the cost of blockchain document transfer. These fees are paid by the exporter. As of October 14, 2021, the cost for the ACI filing processing fee is $150 (150 units) per ACID number.
Along with the ACI filing fee, the sender of the documents will need to cover the cost of blockchain document transfer via the CargoX Platform. The cost is $3 per document (documents are tracked on the blockchain). The variable fee is capped at 15 USD per unique ACID number. This means that even if you submit more than 5 documents in one ACI filing (either in the ACI filing or refiling using the same ACID number), you will never pay more than 15 USD (15 units) for the transfer of documents.
EXAMPLE: If your ACI filing includes 4 documents (see the list of required ACI documents), the blockchain document transfer cost will be $12. The total cost in this case is 150 + 12 = 162 USD (162 units). But if you are sending 5 or more documents for the same ACID number, the maximum total price per ACI filing is capped at 165 USD.
There is no processing cost for re-filing of the same ACID (in case a wrong or incomplete documentation was sent), but as these are new blockchain document transfers, the $3 per document fee will apply (until you reach $15 which is the top limit).
NOTE: Please note that because Egyptian customs require that only verified exporters can submit ACI documents through the CargoX Platform, each exporter needs to pass the mandatory verification process. CargoX uses 3rd party service provider for the verification. The price for verification is published in CagroX's price list (one-time fee per company). With the newly introduced delegations feature on the CargoX Platform, the exporter company can now invite another registered and validated company (freight forwarders, agents, and similar specialists) to become its representative for ACI filings to the Egyptian Customs Authority.
For more info read the CargoX pricing policy which also describes the billing process. To order the CargoX credits, and see the latest document price list, log into your CargoX Platform account and go to the Billing section.

NOTE: CargoX is a third-party provider for the ACI filing. All questions regarding ACI (pricing, etc.) should be addressed to NAFEZA and the Egyptian government.
