Each company (unique company registration number) must register only one CargoX account.
To prevent duplicate registrations please communicate internally about who will register your company on the CargoX Platform. If your company is already registered multiple times, contact support@cargox.io and we will merge company accounts into one (preserving all user accounts).
Allowed exceptions to this rule are branches - standalone companies sharing HQ's tax/VAT number but who operate on a different address.
Under your one company CargoX account, you can create an unlimited number of user accounts - one for each co-worker who needs access to the CargoX Platform. Please note that all these users will share and see all the documents on your company's CargoX account. Users can have different permissions and access rights. This means you can have users who will be "administrators" and can manage other users and their rights, and various levels of normal users that can have limited rights - for example, you can have users that are just allowed to read the received documents, or to prepare and upload documents, but not send them; and a third group that can also transfer documents, etc...
We strongly suggest that every user from your company, that needs access to the CargoX Platform, has their own user account and their own blockchain key. There is no additional cost for doing that, but it provides a lot of transparency, as it is easy to track who did what on the platform.
NOTE: NEVER SHARE YOUR BLOCKCHAIN KEY FILE OR ENCRYPTION PASSWORD WITH ANYONE! YOUR BLOCKCHAIN KEY IS YOURS AND YOURS ALONE! GUARD IT LIKE A PIN TO YOUR BANK ACCOUNT/CREDIT CARD - YOU DO NOT NEED TO SHARE IT WITH YOUR IMPORTER OR ANYONE ELSE (NOT EVEN CARGOX). Read more on blockchain key at https://help.cargox.digital/en/user-manual/managing-company-details/your-blockchain-key/.
Blockchain key should be considered as a personal digital signature and treated in the same way as a person's hand signature. We are sure you are not allowing your colleagues to sign you on important documents. While we recommend all users to register their personal blockchain key, the users that will be initiating blockchain transactions (such as sending the documents, doing the ACI filing, approving other users' blockchain keys, etc.) can only do that by digitally signing those transactions - for which they need their blockchain key.
